Here at ProTek Fiber we take great pride in performing customized fiber optic intallations! In certain instances we’re even able to utilze the current fiber optic cabling to create a better customized solution. This was the case on a recent fiber optic installation job for Proof Research.

The client expanded to a new location with an existing ISP connection from a local fiber optic service provider. ProTek Fiber was requested to extend the fiber optic cable from the service providers hand-off in the DEMARC to the location of the customer’s router.

The Solution

This project consisted of installing new armored interlocking single mode fiber optic cabling, splice tray preparation as well as fusion splicing fiber optic pigtails. Based on Protek Fiber’s professional installation, Simpson Strong-Tie contracted our services to install the premise network cabling infrastructure, multimode fiber optic cabling for IDF locations and wireless access points.
